Gutierrez Industries, Inc. provides management service for coordination of cutting tool repair service with emphasis on coordinating pick-up, returns and system floats.
The Refurbishing Program for cutting tools and holders includes:
- Establishing a re-sharp program for all applicable carbide cutting tools, drills, reamers, end mills, step drills, inserts and PCD round shank tools and broaches with a one week turn around time on non-coated items and two weeks or less on coated items.
- Managing all refurbishing of cutting tools in conjunction with system requirements for new tools and refurbished tools in the plant.
- Automated software/hardware inventory management systems can be used in conjunction with the refurbishing program.
